I'm based here in Dallas, TX, while Joey is based in Somerset England, surrounded by the beautiful English countryside. Together we're united by our shared passion for whisky and craft spirits. We discovered that visualization could dramatically enhance our recall of flavors and aromas, connecting us more deeply with the spirits we love. That's why at JourneyM8, we're dedicated to harnessing the latest AI technologies to create a user-friendly, customized experience that helps fellow enthusiasts like you discover, learn, and indulge in your favorite spirits.
The idea of Journeym8 came into being over a number of years, gently gaining complexity and depth like a new make spirit meeting its cask and settling in. Our trials with journaling methods left us wanting, we had a revelation - what if there was an app that could contain all of what we needed. The idea of JourneyM8 was born.
Now, you are able to chart and log your tastings, to be able to reference back to special drams and see how your palette has developed and grown. You have all of this information and a compendium of all the worlds whisky in one powerful app that can accompany, guide and teach. Its such an exciting prospect.
Ott and I have been mapping, planning, writing, coding and imagining for a number of years now and we are so close to bringing Journeym8 into the world. There are so many exciting aspects to the endeavor which will appeal to the collectors in us, the catalogers and the detail nerds.
